Exceptions To Our Quotations:

 

Flat pack & More aim to provide an efficient stress free service for all our customers. Please take the time to read below so you can help us to help you.

 

  • Please check the packing list/invoice to confirm that everything has been delivered and is in good condition. Any apparent damage to packaging should be checked since items inside may be damaged or missing. If parts are missing, for example: screws or bolts, we may be able to use a spare part from our toolbox but otherwise, we will do our best to give you as much information so you can contact the retailer for replacements. Please be advised that if the job cannot be completed due to missing/damaged parts, a small charge may apply.

     

  • If a wardrobe cannot be assembled lying down due to low ceiling height or not enough space, it may have to be assembled standing up. This can add time to the job. Additional work due to uneven floors or walls may require the use of packing or leveling to furniture-this may incur extra time to the job.

     

  • Our service does not include fixing items to the wall.

     

  • We would prefer for our customers to make ready a clear work space where furniture is to be assembled before we arrive to carry out work as this will avoid any extra time and charges added to the job. We will do whatever possible to assist in moving existing furniture within the customer’s property in order to clear an area adequate space for working we shall not be responsible for any damage due to this.

     

  • Extra time may be added to carry items to assembly area.

     

  • Extra time may be added to clear an area to assemble your flat pack furniture.

  • Extra time means extra work which may not have been quoted for so extra charges may be added due to any information you have failed to provide.

  •  

  • Please specify parking facilities at your home/premises prior to your appointment. Any parking fees incurred on your assembly appointment will be added to the cost of your assembly.

     

  • We would appreciate it if you can let us know 24 hours in advance if you cannot keep your appointment or if there are any problems or changes to the agreed job.

 

  • All quotes are based on the information you provide when submitting your enquiry and are subject to change if the information given is found to be incorrect upon arriving at the job. You will be notified of any change to the cost of the job and If you decide not to proceed with the amended quote there will be a call out charge of £25.
